dr. jacob eisdorfer
dental anesthesiologist
Dr. Jacob is a certified specialist in dental anesthesia. He graduated from Columbia University Dental School and followed by a general practice residency training. During that time, Dr. Jacob found his passion for anesthesia. He was accepted and attended the dental anesthesia residency program in Lutheran Medical Center (now NYU Langone). His profound training in IV sedation and general anesthesia prepared him well for the private dental office setting, where sedation can be an option for patients who have pre-cooperative behaviors, dental phobia, dental anxiety, severely gag reflex, extensive treatments, special need, etc. When conventional dental therapy may not work well, sedation helps a patient to be comfortable and can allow the treatments to be completed in one visit.
Dr. Jacob was raised in Florida and he has been a Brooklynite since he moved to New York for school and training.
